Do I have to take a test for Self-Study Videos?
Since this is considered a self-study course, you are required to pass a qualified assessment with a 70 percent or higher. Qualified assessments are 5 questions per CPE credit. Will my state board of accountancy accept webcast CPE credits?
Western CPE is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a member of the Registry; as such, our CPE credits are accepted in all 50 states. However, CPE credits in different states may vary, so please check with your state board. New York and Texas require sponsors to individually register with their state as continuing education sponsors. I can’t hear the audio portion of the webcast. What’s wrong?
First, make sure your computer has internal or external speakers. Once verified, check your volume settings. To check your computer volume, adjust the volume slider and make sure “mute” isn’t activated. Qualified Assessment Results
When Customers do not receive their certificate because they did not pass their qualified assessment for a self-study or self-study video, they may call in to ask for the correct answers to the question(s) they answered incorrectly. We cannot give any customer this information until they earn their certificate. FlexCast is an add on membership that gives you the ability to pause any webcast and resume when you're ready. Your webcast progress will be saved and you may continue at a later point in time. Self Study courses allow customers to study for their qualified assessment in multiple formats. They can choose a hard copy format which allows them to have the materials printed and shipped to them. The qualified assessment can be taken by the assessment provided in their materials and then fax or email us the assessment to be graded.
