Webcasts

Webcasts are an in-house developed, simulated classroom environment taught by industry experts. They are considered live CPE due to having attendance prompts and a live moderator available to answer questions during our business hours.

Unlike Self-Studies and Self-Study Videos, customers do not have to take a qualified assessment to receive credit.

During the webcast, customers have the ability to ask the moderator any clarifying questions or request more information on the topic at hand. Moderators are certified professionals who are equipped to answer questions related to the webcast content.

To verify participation, customers will receive prompts every 10-15 minutes that ask them to confirm their attendance. Completing at least 70% of these prompts is necessary to receive full credit. If less than 70% of the prompts are completed, credit will be awarded based on the percentage of attendance. For example, in a 4-hour course, answering only 50% of the prompts will result in earning 2 credits instead of 4.

Customers are given a 10-minute break every 50 minutes during the webcast.

Customers cannot rewind, fast forward, skip breaks, pause, or exit the webcasts. If a customer exits the webcast, it will forfeit the time viewed, and they will have to start back from the beginning, unless they have Flexcast.

Webcasts must be consumed between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM EST, Monday - Saturday.
